The concept of "Holism" (originally
spelled "wholism") is often regarded as a synergism of WHOLE,
HEAL and HOLY, for it encompasses the essence of all three. How so?
WHOLE stands for wholesome, unbroken, unfragmented. The Holistic approach respects the wholeness of food (whole wheat rather than white flour products, brown rice, rather than polished white rice, sugar cane juice rather than white sugar etc.) just as it respects the wholeness of the human body. It relates to people in matters of health and disease from a multi-faceted approach, because that's how we are: we function on many levels simultaneously. So in "diagnostics" - the whole person is analyzed: his physical, biochemical, emotional, mental, spiritual, energetic, environmental, social, toxicological, genetic and constitutional factors. All of these interplay in our well-being, all are pieces of the puzzle - and are to be considered with utmost care. So the Holistic practitioner does not specialize in any fragmented PART of the body (such as heart, skin or eyes), but rather in viewing the individual as a WHOLE: body, mind and spirit - for such we truly are. Likewise in "Therapeutics": the Holistic doctor commands a myriad of non-invasive and non-toxic modalities, from which the patient's "innate" (inner knowingness) selects the suitable ones in order to restore health (both physical and emotional) gently, quickly and completely. So in the Holistic field the "specialization" refers to the skills and techniques that the practitioner has mastered, all with a focus on "the whole person". HEAL refers to the understanding that the patient is the true healer. The doctor is only a facilitator, coach or guide - but not the one that "cures" - for all healing is from within. Since the body - in its infinite wisdom - creates symptoms (or "dis-ease") for the purpose of expelling accumulated waste or coping with certain situations in the most effective way, we should never attempt to go against the body, nor to suppress symptoms - but rather help the body in the direction that it's already going (the process of "self-cleansing"), so that healing may be accelerated and the immune system fortified. So any healing modality - to be considered in a truly Holistic framework - will be non-toxic, non-invasive and non-suppressive! HOLY refers to the mutual respect between doctor and patient, and especially for the doctor to view the patient as a manifestation of Holiness ("created in the image of God", if you will) which dictates that the Inner Wisdom of the body is truly "the holder of knowledge". It also means that we respect the body's integrity - and refrain from cutting away organs (such as tonsils, gallbladders and breasts). An ailing part cries out to be healed, not discarded. So the Holistic doctor will not perch himself on a "Holier-than-thou" pedestal - but will rather (in true humility) acknowledge and be guided by the information that is revealed by the patient's Higher Consciousness. So "Holism" refers to
totality, to viewing and relating to a problem AND THE PERSON
from all angles and on as many levels as possible simultaneously.
It is a multi-dimensional approach. It is based on four basic
tenets: Totality, Individuality, Specificity and Sourcing (details
of these in an expanded chapter).
True HOLISM,
however, means more than just "totality"; it is expressed
by the organism on all levels. In incidents like trauma, injury,
shock or poisoning - everything gets embedded into cellular
memory at the moment of impact: body position, direction of gaze,
emotion, phase of respiration, organ torque, fiber entanglement, sights,
sounds, smells... EVERYTHING!
When one part of this complex is corrected
(such as bone mis-alignment) - the patient may experience temporary
relief, but as long as the other parts of this complex are still holding
the distortion pattern, then BY RESONANCE - they will pull back into
distortion the physical component that was corrected.
This is the main reason why patients have to go to the chiropractor again and again. The IDEAL Holistic practitioner will access all possible components of an incident in order to erase it totally. In dealing with conditions of ill-health
- whether acute or chronic - the Holistic doctor uses a very simple
formula (tried and true, both universal and eternal) in order to eradicate
dis-ease and restore health gently, quickly and completely - without
using toxic drugs, without resorting to suppressive measures and without
wielding aggressive or invasive procedures.
The formula is:
The first step is accomplished through HOLISTIC (or HOLOGRAPHIC) TESTING - which enables us to pinpoint the causative factors and the most appropriate and effective therapeutic modalities with a precision that was never known before. The second step involves removing, eliminating
or changing the conditions that produced the ill-health in the first
place, involving all aspects of the human experience: physical,
nutritional, emotional, mental, social, environmental, spiritual,
etc. As a consequence of this approach, we witness spectacular results in all kinds of chronic conditions that were considered "incurable" by conventional standards, such as saving people from unnecessary surgeries and from other aggressive, toxic, invasive or potentially risky procedures. Actually, the Holistic practitioner's ultimate goal is to teach the tools of self-awareness and health-assessment to his patients and empower them to utilize various healing modalities - so that they will no longer require his (or another doctor's) services! He is on a path of (literally) putting himself out of business! His ideal service is mainly educational, to teach you that YOU ARE THE TRUE HEALER! She currently lives in NYC and specializes in so-called "incurable" cases The Four Pillars of Holism are the following four principles: TOTALITY, INDIVIDUALITY, SPECIFICITY and SOURCING. Totality refers to the principle of Holism which acknowledges the multi-dimensionality of the person - not only the body as a complete unit (not a conglomerate of parts!) but also the inter-linking of body, mind and soul. Consequently, both diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are coordinated with this principle in mind. Individuality relates to the recognition we give to the fact that we are all different and unique - in physical appearance, heredity, personality, biochemical requirements, voice, talents - and even the shape of internal organs! Only identical twin are "the same" - and even they differ in finger-prints! Therefore, therapy must be custom-tailored to the individual - not to the disease! Specificity respects the body's intelligence to serve as our guide to pinpoint the underlying causes, to find the precise therapy, to determine the exact dosage and duration of treatment, to check the compatibility of the remedies to the body and to each other etc. Following are a few simplified examples:
It is important to understand that the homeopathic remedies cited are all energy-based, without any substance present. So there is no real hormone in either "testosterone " or "progesterone" - only the energetic imprint, which speaks the language of the cells. The understanding of POTENCIES is absolutely crucial for a successful outcome of therapy. The potency (conveyed by a number) represents the number of stages of preparation. The low potencies have a physiological effect.; the high potencies have an antidoting effect and the medium potencies are regulating. Adherence to specificity elevates the therapeutic approach from a level of "educated guesswork" to the level of Biological Certainty - which not only promotes faster and more complete healing, but may sometime spell the difference between life and death! Sourcing refers to being at cause - not at effect - in the project of health restoration. We admit that the patient is "the holder of the knowledge" regarding all matters of health, disease and therapy that relate to his body. Firstly, because he is the only one residing within that structure 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Secondly, all that transpires - frustrations, disease, pain, accidents - are recorder in the cellular memory, which is the body's reservoir of knowledge. Fortunately, this memory bank can be tapped, and the information accessed - for the owner's own benefit. * * * * * * * To learn more about these concepts read LET THE BODY SPEAK
Most female problems (PMS, breast lumps, infertility, tendency to miscarriages, osteoporosis, menopause symptoms, etc) are both preventable and reversible with gentle, non-invasive, non-medical modalities, through Quantum Therapy, the ultimate multi-dimensional approach to health. HOLISTIC "GYNECOLOGY"??? Yes, indeed. The Holistic non-medical approach to feminine problems minimizes the need for using drugs, surgery and other potentially risky measures. It is non-toxic, non-risky and non-invasive. It utilizes the full-spectrum approach to the mind, body and emotions through the use of harmless, natural, energy-based substances and treatments... and it's all based on the Four Pillars of Holism: Totality, Individuality, Specificity and Sourcing. Let's look at a few examples: PMS: INFERTILITY: BREAST LUMPS: FIBROIDS: ENDOMETRIOSIS: OSTEOPOROSIS: MENOPAUSE: If you have any questions, you may call Dr. Shoshana
